Finned Roller – Straight
The straight finned roller is used for even rolling and de-airing of laminate layups in composite manufactu- ring. Its straight form is particularly suited to large, flat surfaces.
The roller simply plugs onto the frame – it is not screwed on. If worn, only the roller itself needs to be replaced; the frame remains in use.

Plug System Instead of Screwing
As with the barrel finned roller, the roller here is only plugged onto the frame, not screwed on. If worn, only the roller
needs to be replaced – the frame remains in use and does not need to be replaced with it. Matching replacement rollers
are additionally available as refill packs, making ongoing roller changes simple and cost-effective – and generating less
plastic waste than disposing of roller and frame together.
Application
The straight finned roller is used when laminating GRP and CRP components, to roll out air bubbles and excess resin
from the laminate layup.
Materials
The roller is made of robust, wear-resistant POM. The frame is galvanized and fitted with a PP handle.
