Vacuum Infusion Plug Cross
The Vacuum Infusion Plug Cross enables cross connections of spiral hoses in the infusion process. Its flat underside rests beneath the film and ensures a tight connection.
Spiral hoses are routed through the cross opening, while a separate opening on top provides for the connection of a resin line – making the Plug Cross well suited to complex setups with multiple lines.

Application
The Vacuum Infusion Plug Cross is particularly well suited to complex vacuum infusion setups with multiple lines,
where spiralhoses need to be routed in different directions.
Depending on component size, several Plug Cross units are often combined in one setup.
Materials
The Vacuum Infusion Plug Cross is designed for use with epoxy and polyester resin. The polypropylene (PP) used is
chemical-resistant and dimensionally stable within the usual infusion range.

The matching Plug Adapter is also available as an accessory to the Vacuum Infusion Plug series.

Which Diameter Matters?
Two different dimensions matter for the Plug Cross: on top, the hose for the resin feed is connected – here the outside
diameter (D1) is relevant, and it determines the item variant. In addition, the spiral hose is routed through the cross
opening and laid within the part; the dimensions of this pass-through (D2) can be found in the table.
